    Hi,
I am currently with Airtricity and have been with them for over the term of the one year contract.

I am looking at changing providers and will go for Electric IRL or Onebigswitch.

Currently I am paying 16.46c per kWh on top of standng charge of 40c per day and pso levy.

What will I be paying if I switch back to Electric Ireland?

    Regards,

    Hi dixiefly,

Thank you for getting in touch with this query. We currently have the ValueSaver price plan available for new and returning customers. This price plan offers a 15% discount for electricity only when you opt for Direct Debit and Online Billing. There is also currently a bonus €20 credit available when you switch online: elec.ie/SwitchSave

Our current standard unit rate for 24 hour meters is €0.1701. The unit rate including the 15% discount is €0.1446 per kWh. (Please note that our discounts are shown as a monetary value on your bill, so you would see the standard unit rate and the discounts shown on separate lines). There are terms and conditions associated with this price plan.

Depending on whether your property is listed as Domestic Urban or Domestic Rural, your standing charge would be €0.337 or €0.4493 respectively. Our rates are given excluding VAT and are subject to change. The PSO Levy is a government charge and is the same for all suppliers.

If you have any questions about the above, please let us know.

    Kind regards,
    Aoife

Is the 40c standing charge for urban or rural.

    Hi Aoife/Electric Ireland Team,

I am currently with Electric Ireland and am paying Std rate. Are there any offers to retain me to Electric Ireland?
I can avail of up to 15% discount by switching providers.

    Thanks
