Just put the car through the NCT 2 days ago, Passed. (2 Tyres - Advisory)

Got 2 new tyres yesterday, your man in the shop tells me i have a leak.

    Said on the sheet

    Transmission input shaft seal leak...

It's only a crappy runaround PUNTO to get to work and back 8 miles a day..

Don't see any fluids on the road from under the car. I'm not saying he's lying, cause they are usually sound, but surly the NCT guy would have noticed fluids pissing out when he had the car up

But if its leaking i'm sure at some stage it'll go tits up

Anyone know if its Big Job???

Nct only fail a car if the leak is bad otherwise they ignore small leaks.

A good independent garage could give you a quote
