American visiting Ireland for a week long visit. Looking for the best pre-paid sim service for coverage especially. I am willing to pay more if ones coverage is superior to the other.

Main use will be data for smart phone with gps. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S4.

Landing in Dublin and was planning to head to Swords Pavilion to pick up the sim card. Then we will focus on Dublin west to Galway and everything south.

Appears my choices are primarily Vodafone/O2 and Tesco??

    Opinions would be much appreciated.

    Meteor is good

20Euro top up will get you

Unlimited meteor to meteor calls & texts

    Unlimited any network texts

You keep the 20Euro credit, but you can spend 10 of it on adding an unlimited data ;)

Three I would highly recommend if your using data.
And in general, just steer clear of their customer care.

The unlimited is actually 7.5gb which is ridiculously low for "unlimited"

Thank you very much for the reply. Three looks great and it appears they sell them in the Dublin Airport.

I was going to drive to Swords to the mall to find a sim card, this option will be much easier.

    Dublin on Monday...thanks again!
