Hey just wondering if anyone knows if you can use double points coupons and threshold coupons (eg spend 35e and get 350 points) in the same transaction?

Yes you can use both of them in the one transaction. I did it last week. :)

It's a great way of boosting the points balance. I managed to get €14 worth of points in one transaction by using both vouchers at once.

Letting them build up for Christmas now!

I was just wondering how do you get these vouchers? I've never received these before!

You need to have a boots card and need to be signed up to receive stuff in the mail (vouchers, catalogues etc) though they rarely send catalogues etc. I only remember getting one a few years ago.

There's a phone number on the back of the card that you can phone to check if you are signed up or not.

    :)

Hi guys just to add further to this, the last few times I've used these coupons for extra points, when I checked my receipt the number of points actually added never correspond to the voucher! Anyone else notice this or be like myself until recently and never check? I'll definitely be checking before I leave the store from now on, it's ridiculous!

There's a lot of small print on the back of the coupons. Some can't be used with other offers (sometimes point offers, sometimes any offer including 3 for 2's etc). I've had cases where the coupon would apply to one or two small items on my receipt, but not to the more expensive items because the more expensive ones were part of an offer which made the coupon void.

Dilly I had similar but I think I worked it out. You get say 300 points for a €30 spend, and then anything over that is treated as "normal" points. You can use two coupons together but they might not work cumulatively, so if you spend €34 you'll get 16 points for the extra €4, and then only that 16 will be doubled, so your total points would be 332. It's a bit annoying alright when you think it's gonna be 632!
