Hi over the last few days my dell inspirion windows 7 cant connect to my wireless O2 dongle. It wont even connect using the usb. All other usb and wireless devices connect to the laptop no problem.

Also my tablet will connect to the same wireless dongle. Connected now!

My laptop recognises the dongle but tells me I have 'Limited Access', however it gives me no access!

When I run the troubleshoot to diagnose the problem, it tells me that there is a problem with the driver for the Wireless Connection Adapter. What do I need to do? I would expect at a minimum the usb would work!!!
Can anyone help get my laptop back on line?? Done all the basic things like shutting down, taking out sim, turning on and off wireless, re-installed dongle etc..

Uninstall the dongle software. Reboot and then reinstall the dongle software.

As i know, wireless dongle connects with open insecure network that may be harmful for data security. So, concern this factor also to achieve a safe networking environment.

    Hi,
Click on start menu then right-click on Computer > Properties > Device Manager.

Do you see any yellow flags?
