Big fan of pretty much every type of mustard except englsh, especially wholegrain. I tend to use it with ham and in sandwiches a good bit.

As far as I know it comes from this plant.

Mustard is mustard. It's made from mustard. Hence the name.

Anybody know what coffee is, exactly?!?

    :)

Edit: just re-read your OP! Hot dog 'mustard' is made from extract of pimple. With just a hint of toe cheese. Avoid. Try some proper mustard. Made from mustard.

Actually one of my first ever posts on Boards was in the mustard forum: like a lot of my threads it failed to gain traction, but fcuk me for trying to raise standards around here, right?

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056746998

Anyway, the legacy of my time on boards has been a tale of tragic proportions; attempting to speak truth to power, I have been lambasted high and low! Oh! How saddening it is to see the great and the good smite me from up on high! At least I have my mustard! This week it is Maille Dijon Original, a nice tasty one, a bit on the light side, mind you!

Some of us would be almost as passionate about mustard as you are about creating pointless Feedback threads.

Here's a recipe that makes the most of mustard...

    Düsseldorfer Pork Steak (Serves 4)

    Ingredients
    4 large pork steaks
    2 medium onions, sliced thinly
    Enough potatoes for 4
    Olive oil
    Butter
4 tbsp Dijon mustard mixed with 4 tsp hot mustard (eg, Colman's)
    2 beef stock cubes
    Salt & pepper, to taste

    Method
Boil or steam the potatoes in lightly salted water
Cover each pork steak in cling film & flatten with a rolling pin to approx 1 centimetre
Grill the pork steaks well (around 8 to 12 mins depending on size)
When the steaks are ready, put in a warmed oven until ready to serve
In a hot pan heat 1 tbsp of olive oil & the knob of butter
Fry the onions on a high heat until the onions turn colour
Add salt & pepper to taste, crumble in the beef stock cubes & stir through the onions
Top up with boiling water until the onions are almost covered
Allow the gravy to boil away & reduce down by a half
To serve liberally spread mustard on each steak, top with the onion gravy so each steak is covered –
Heap mashed potatoes on the side

Here's a better Recipie, You need:

    2 Med Onions
    2-4 scallions
    Iceberg Lettuce
    Large Knob of butter
    Large Dollop of Colmans Mustard
    2 Pork Sausages
    2 Smoked Back Rashers
    Salt & Pepper

    Instructions:
Feck Out all the Useless Veg
Butter Bread and smother in Mustard
Fry off sausages and Rashers to your desired state and put on Bread and eat !
