I recently upgraded my old pc. The original hardware was put into an old case i had so i could give it to my son. Before i removed the HW it worked fine. Now when i start it up and try to install win7 i get a BSOD ""IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL". Sometimes i try to boot it up and after a few seconds it just powers itself off completly!. The system was working fine before i moved the parts.
    System spec:
    Motherboard:ASUS M2N-SLI deluxe
    RAM : 6GB
    Processor: AM2 3.2Ghz
    Graphics: ATI Radeon 3200
    HDD: Seagate Barracuda 80G

    Any ideas welcome

Check what mode the harddrives are set to in the bios. Make sure it is set to AHCI.

Are you trying to install it from a USB stick? I've had problems like that in the past due to a corrupted ISO download. The fix was to redownload the ISO and flash it to the stick again.
