    Depends on how much you like the bike, I guess. I use a Fahgettaboudit mini-lock and a Kryptonite Series 2. I also have a security skewer on the front wheel (Pitlock). This allows me to secure both wheels and the frame in almost all scenarios.

    For commuting, you probably know what you're going to lock to. If it's a standard Sheffield-type stand (like a big staple in the ground) and it's an area of at most moderate bike-thief activity, a Kryptonite Evo Mini and a cable extender (Kryptoflex) would allow you to secure the wheels and the frame adequately.
