hardwareversand & RMAs

    Anyone had any issues with hardwareversand and getting returns sorted for faulty products?

    Had a HDD and GFX card go in about 1 week of each other and sent them back via UPS. This was at the 1st/2nd February. Got the HDD back in about a week but I'm still waiting on 670. Their support has been less than helpful taking either ages to reply or giving me very little in terms of information.

    The last message they said they sent the motherboard off, I asked if this was a typo last week but no reply. Is there some kind of European / German / Irish consumer law I can call on here to speed things up?

    You're not the first to have a few issues with them, some similar threads do pop up now and then, but i suppose nobody posts that all is going well!

    You're best bet is to try and ring them, ask for someone that speaks English and try and get to the bottom of it.

    I seriously just think the whole site is a scam, the amount of trouble I had with them and am still having with them even though my orders cancelled...Jesus, just stay away

    I had the same problem with them a while back. Took ages to respond to my e-mails after I sent the parts back. In the end I got through to an english speaker there and asked for a refund ASAP.


    I've been ordering off Overclockers a couple of times now and I had to RMA a motherboard, but I have to say their customer service so far has been very good.

    Got told I can't get a refund as it's over 30 days since I purchased the goods (in fairness I'm nearing the year mark shortly).

    I didn't have any issues with buying from them I have to say.

    Ive sent off a GPU, CPU and mobo to them.

    The GPU took the most part of a month to be replaced. apparently it was sent to the Netherlands?? iirc.

    I emailed them after 2 weeks to get a status update, and a week later they replied that the replacement had shipped.

    The CPU was around a month too. to be fair though it was a nightmare as it literally had a weird bug where it would only crash under certain conditions, and it was eventually replaced by AMD themselves after HWVS could find no fault and i told them to forward it to AMD as i wasnt happy with it.

    The mobo was replaced in a week though to be fair.

    Ive dealt with them for a long time, and while i definitely cant defend their customer service; their emails have always been bad, and apparently are getting worse (get it together HWVS!), they definitely are not a scam.

    call them up if you ever seriously need to deal with them.
