Question for everyone. are the new marlin 348 rifles any good?

    Question for everyone. Is the new marlin 348 a good rifle. Going looking at one tomorrow. Would like to no more about them.

    The older rifles with JM stamp are the best. Remington took over the factory, shipped all the machines out, sacked all the marlin staff, and quality control went south.
    But the newer rifles from Remington are getting better.

    Have a look at the rimfiremagic website about fitting a 'happy trigger' and changing out the firing pin and more
