Didn't receive sign on reminder text

    I normally get a reminder text from social welfare the day before I have to sign on. I didn't get one today and I can't find my post office receipt. I think the sign on day is tomorrow but I'm not sure? My local social welfare office is on Thomas Street, Dublin 8.

    No, I'll try calling them tomorrow. They dont always answer their phones :/

    I rang them this morning and sure enough the sign on day was today. Thanks guys.

    No, you get reminders in Cork too! I usually take a note of the next signing day whilst I'm at the office and set a reminder on the phone, just in case.

    Maybe you should do the same, OP?

    You only get text reminders if you sign electronically. Not all offices have electronic signing. There was a problem with some text reminders not going out this week but its the responsibility of each individual to remember their signing day. It is normally four weeks from your last signing day so not too hard to keep track of.
