Hi,

I would like to get some improvements and extension done on my house. I own the house as I paid it in full with cash.

So my question is can I apply for a top up mortgage and use the house as security even though I don't have a mortgage with the bank.

    Regards

    Hi RCSATELLITIES,

Thank you for your post on boards.

All mortgage applications are dealt with on a case by case basis with a range of factors taken into consideration. Unfortunately, we would be unable to advise you here if you are eligible for a top up mortgage. We would suggest contacting our Mortgage Team who will be more than happy to go through any questions you may have, you can request a call from a Mortgage Advisor here.

Alternatively please contact your account holding branch directly to speak with a Mortgage Advisor.

We hope this clarifies this for you, if we can assist with anything else please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Thanks,
