    Hi all,

A group of 4 of us are thinking of going to Oktoberfest in September (mid week only 21st - 24th) and the accommodation is insanely expensive so we were looking at Weisn Camp. They provide the campers/tents/containers and you just land in with your sleeping bag. The rates are great too so we'd be happy out with that. Just wondering what are people's experiences of Weisn Camp if they've been there, and what about Oktoberfest in general?

I'm a massive Weissbier fan so really looking forward to it :D

Myself and 3 others booked a flat on airbnb.com. It worked out about 40e per night (we stayed 2 nights). The place was right beside the festival and it was clean but nothing too impressive as you can imagine.

As for the festival itself, I had a great time. The beer and food were excellent. There are lots of amusements also, roller coasters etc. The people were mostly sound and didn't have any trouble. You'll definitely enjoy it if you like good beer.
