Hello! I'm an American looking to tour Ireland soon and wanted to work as a dancer to make a little extra cash as I do it in my hometown. I wanted to know what the women and clubs themselves looked like, how the women were dressed, blah blah blah so I could compare myself and adjust accordingly. Would I be more or less desirable because of my nationality? Which clubs would you recommend to work at and which ones are crap? Thanks :)

Assuming this is a serious post, if anything you would be more desirable as an American.

This place is probably the least sleazy:

Mod note: unhelpful posts removed. Next one gets a sanction.

@kadeebeen have a look at some of these threads for pointers: http://www.boards.ie/search/submit/?subforums=1&forum=474&query=strip+club

Least sleazy haha I am absolutely serious. What could you tell me about work visas or dancer license/permits?

Working Holiday Visa might apply if it's a tour you are doing. See: https://www.dfa.ie/travel/visas/working-holiday-visas/ and https://www.dfa.ie/travel/visas/us-ireland-visa-arrangements/

Don't think we require dancer permits/licenses in Ireland like you do in the US. Just do make sure it's a reputable establishment you try to get work with.

I find the lack of responses hilarious. All the guys here that frequent lap-dancing clubs afraid their girlfriends looking over their shoulders at their boards.ie posts. :pac:

Can't remember was ages back, I do remember it was an extortionate price for a bottle of Heineken.

So how do the clubs work over there? We have one where I'm from where they don't sell alcohol, it's just a juice bar, so the girls are full nude, but the one I work at sells alcohol so the most nude we can get is a thong and tittie tape. The customers are also absolutely not allowed to touch us. Is that the case in Ireland?

Kadeebeen, I suggest you contact some clubs directly and ask about these issues yourself. I'm closing this thread now.
