Would this work in Ireland seems a good price, very hot on hukd
The dish seems a bit small. I think an 80cm dish is required for Ireland.

45cm dish is too small to work reliably here, you'd need at least 60cm. Anyway, they only appear to ship to UK.

Dish is slightly smaller than the recommended size for Ireland which is 60cm but it is a great price and the Philex brand is a step up from the dishes lidl and Aldi sell from time to time. Just bear in mind that RTE is not free on satellite so you will need a separate receiver and small aerial to pick up saorview.

60cm is fine- the dish and mounting kit for a 60cm dish works out at around 20 Euro- an 80cm one would be around 35 Euro. It depends on where in the country you are though- the further outside the footprint hotspot you are- the better the signal strength you'll get from a larger dish. For the East coast- a 60cm dish is tonnes.

    Parcel Motel.

Just to note that this receiver (I think its the model:28261R) is FTA as opposed to FREESAT, as far as I can make out. Ebay description is inaccurate. Still a decent price for a full HD kit.

It will be a nuisance when you are having to retune about every 3 weeks and your channels are all over the place with no EPG only now and next also.

A false economy, best buy a Sky dish and get yourself a branded uk freesat box like this via ebay.co.uk and Parcel Motel.

That item with the satellite dish would be too big for parcel motel and as I said the guys better off getinng a branded "Freesat" receiver and get a Sky dish installed separately. Those other cheap dishs have no life-span and will be misaligned after a storm, the Sky mesh dish survives it a bit better.

A Triax dish is miles ahead of a Sky dish, no trouble with it rusting and comes with a solid mounting bracket, never moved in any storm.
