    Hi All,

Just looking for some advice in terms of home recording.

I have been collecting little bits n pieces over the last few years and now am at a stage where i want to produce some good home recordings.

Of all the studio bits i have collected this is what i have to date:

imac & PC both with Ableton Live+Cubase
    Ashdown Bass Amp,Marshall Amp etc
SM57+58, Couple of T-Bone Condensers from thomann
Yamaha Keyboard with USB Midi Interface, lots of freeware plugins

I want really to be able to overdub tracks. So basically play a live acoustic guitar and come back and record the other parts etc.

My question is.. connecting it all together. Does anyone know should i invest in? Maybe some really good preamps with phantom power or to go for a great audio interface and desk or if they can offer some advice it would be great.. While i know my way around the suite of software etc, my knowledge is not great with piecing the "Analog" part of the studio together...

    Thanks guys!
