hi. I was thinking of setting up a small, non vat registered, business. I would be importing goods from a vat registered company in the uk. I presume I pay vat to the supplier and my question is, do I then have to charge my customer vat at full irish rate. Thanks in advance

    Hi

If you are non vat registered you do not charge VAT to any of your customers. Any VAT that you suffer from your supplier in the Uk is a cost to you.
