Need new tyres and local Atlas is recommending this brand saying they are highly rated for traction and fuel economy. I never heard of them. Anyone here have experience?

    €95 for 225/50/17 fitted.

For that price, I think you should be able to get a brandname tyre.
I dont know that make but I wouldnt be too hopeful of their quality

Edit: 17s look more expensive than I thought.

In my experience if you've never heard of them theres a 95% chance there pure muck. Very very rarely you find a grand brand.

Yeah the cheapest brand name I can find is €135 for Firestone in a fitters 30 miles away. I wouldn't normally consider budget tyres but I know the lad in the local Atlas and wouldn't say he would put bad tyres on a car.

Cheap Chinese tyres. I would not be fitting them to my car

Do you actually know they are Chinese or have any actual experience of the brand?

I believe the brand name is Maxtrek and not Max Track; maxtrek is a Chinese brand.

Only a few reviews here so hard to tell if they're any good.

As RootX pointed out above they are a chinese tyre.

I have no experience with this brand but have experience with a few others and i will never put them on a car i own. Or even recommend them.
Would much rather pay a few extra euros for decent rubber.

Thanks all. Think I'll go for Firestones for €135.

If your are buying 4, UK might work out cheaper.

Yeah I had a quick look on cam skill and eiretyres but no real savings there after delivery and fitting. Found a supplier in Drogheda who will fit Semperits for €125 so going with that.
