Car won't start after changing bulb!

Changed the dimmer bulb yesterday and this morning the car won't start, just won't turn over fully.

Any ideas what the connection could be?

I suspect it's an electrical issue, I'll disconnect the bulb to see but I don't know how something so small could effect the starting of the car.
If the light is turned off then surely it doesn't have connection to the battery?!

    2006 Mazda 3.

    I'm no mechanic.

Could you have left the lights on after replacing the bulb? Not turning over fully sounds like a flat battery.

No definitely not. And yes it does sound like flat battery even though all of the ignition lights came on full force.
I was wondering is there might be a short of something draining the battery. but it makes no sense to me.

How old is the battery? Can/Have you tried a jump start? Or try turning your dims on before you start the car and if they go dull it'll confirm a flat battery.

    I'll try this this evening.
Could hardly be a coincidence, the car was 100% yesterday apart from the blown bulb.

Car back to normal but still don't know what the issue was .
    1. Tried to start and no go.
    2. Tried jumping it off another car and still no go (I didn't think the battery was the issue).
    3. Fiddled around with all connections in the facinity of the passenger headlamp and still no go.
    4. Tried starting again while pumping the accellerator and it started eventually and is still starting just fine

Anyway seems to be back to normal.

    Thanks all for the help.

it sounds like it was flooded, which can the odd time to many petrol cars. Its nothing to be concerned about really.

I don't think this is the last we'll hear from you OP, there's an underlying reason why this Mazda didn't start certainly unrelated to the bulb change.
