Firehouse Pizza- Vegan Mozzarella?

Has anyone tried the vegan mozzarella option from Firehouse Pizza? I sit any good? Are there any other pizza places that have a vegan cheese option.

Were recently vegetarian, I would also like to slowly transition to vegan. We already only use non-dairy milk and the only things I would really miss are cheese and baking.

I succesfully made a vegan chocolate cake yesterday, so I'm a little less worried about the baking side now, as at least I'll still have 1 cake I can make!

So its just the cheese side of things now.

Yeah it's pretty good. I'm fairly sure that it's redwoods mozzarella that they use. Can't think of any other pizza places in dublin that do vegan cheese.

Cool, think we will give it a try Its a shame they dont have a better selection of veggie topppings.

Theres a pizza place in Malahide called Pizza Republic and they have 4 or 5 different veggie pizzas and they are all delicious. If the vegan cheese is good I might email them and ask them if they would start having it as an option too.

yeah we've used it, gf always gets it and likes it. Also firehouse pizza is amazing in general, fantastic in fact.

How I wiiiiiiish they delivered into the city. There was a place nearer to town once that did a vegan pizza but I believe it is gone, though it still has an active website - hellpizza.ie

I heard they're due to open a new shop on the Southside you should check if that one will deliver to town?

I feel like a weirdo saying this but the last time I got firehouse pizza, it was like they put a whole block of violife on there, it was way too much, it was actually too cheesy for me and I was kinda wishing I got no cheese

Yeah it's not nice when there is too much, was hopefully a once off. They have opened another place in the southside now!
