Engineer code

    When you get a new alarm system fitted are you entitled to the engineer code or are you stuck with the person who fitted the alarm for any faults that would need the engineer code.

    You can ask and see what they say, most wont as they use the same code for all there systems. Either way the engineer code does not tie you into a pacific company. Most systems can be defaulted back to factory setting and set back up. In saying that its always good to have your own engineer code.

    ask for it to be left on the factory default code I have never had a problem with anyone getting access to there own alarm once there know not to be messing about with the programming of the devices or communicator/digi
