Aer Lingus Gold Circle members no longer have access to Lounge in Nice, France

    It seems Aer Lingus Gold Circle are making cutbacks in lounge access for it's members at the Riviera Lounge in Nice Côte D'Azur Airport.

    They also removed access from the Panorama Lounge in Zürich back in January. :mad:

    The current list of available lounges can be found here.

    Edit: Zürich is back on the list. Woo-hoo! Free G&Ts & gummy bears on Fridays again! :)

    I see you can get access if you have a bank of Ireland gold visa credit card, and the cost of this is just €120 per year. So anybody who travels regularly on a route with a lounge won't be long eating into the €120 fee if they eat a few gummy bears and drink a few G+T's!

    But if you don't have membership then €120 for access is not too expensive if you are in a position to get use from it!

    Problem with the Zurich lounge is the opening times, especially getting the Friday night flight back to Dublin!!

    What’s Aer Lingus up to?. Lounge access at Berlin Schönefeld Airport is also gone!. Something I hadn’t realised until I presented my GC
    card at the desk. 

    I know it is probably the ****test lounge there is but at least it was air conditioned and had somewhere to sit. Summers coming and
    I don’t fancy traveling through that stinking, packed hot box.

    I really wish they’d go back to One World or join Star Alliance, it’d make my points useful.
