NIB/Danske Custody Accounts Closing

    It appears that NIB/Danske will close these Custody Accounts down (or mine anyway) on 24 May so I have two months to get another one sorted somewhere and get all stuff moved over to a new broker / trader.

    Any suggestions for a good but also cheap trader for low value deals (like 500 here and there) and one where transferring from Danske would be fairly hassle free ? I was considering Compushare (only because I have them for old Eircom (now Vodafone) shares, but are there better options ?

    They are arranging transfer to goodbodys unless you have another preference you will get a letter about it

    while the annual charges are cheaper, the cost per trade is dearer and significantly dearer for European (non Irish or GBP) or USD trades.

    also the danske platform was great, goodbody's is terrible and shares available were brutal when i was with them.

    I suspect they will offer commission free sales if anyone wants to sell out of positions.


    probably still the best option around though.
