    massive spec me hole.

Now this one on the other hand plus had the ignition coils replaced which were prone to failure in the 08 models.

Ta for the input. I'm a little wary of private ads with the reg hidden. Also, 12 month warranty on offer from the dealer

I wouldn't put any faith in the aftermarket warranty available from that dealer.

The photos dont do it any favours anyway. I dont know if the paintwork is tatty or is it just the rainy photos...

Yeah the paint is fine, just the rain as you say. The warranty is through a third party crowd who's name eludes me right now.

Is actually miles or km as that is an original Irish car but the odometer can be switched to display between miles and km. Known issues are mainly with coil packs and injectors on those petrol engines with Efficient Dynamics.

BTW you need to read the small print of these 3rd party warranties, they tend to exclude a lot of stuff. I see these type of warranties as a convenient get out of jail card for dealers so that they don't have to deal with issues.

That's miles, the car itself is showing 160-odd km.

Yeah I've been reading up on the warranty, wouldn't put a load of faith in it. I'm more concerned about the fact there aren't a huge amount of them for sale with bigger miles

Not just that but they only cover sudden failure items. I bought my 335i from them and the warranty was absolutely useless when it came to the issue with the turbo wastegates. Sarsfield/Mapfre and BMW were of absolutely no help to me whatsoever.
