Random film

I have the memory of an old film stuck in my head the last few days and can't figure out what it was called. It's driving me mad.

Think it's a 90s film and starred an Asian actor (Asian American?). I think maybe Japanese or Chinese.

There's a scene in it where another guy (white) is running after him while he's getting onto a ship of some kind and finally manages to catch up with him. He's telling him how hard it was to catch him and the Asian guy says something like... you should get a car.

This is literally all I remember about it except for a sex scene where the Asian character is getting off with an Asian woman (Japanese I think...) and they're doing it against a door.

So over to you wise AHers. Dafuq is the name of this film!?

The Asian character is young and good looking and it's an action film... sorry! I've like no other clues and have spent an hour googling it to no avail! The ship is only one scene it's not actually about ships.

That doesn't narrow it down a whole lot... Was the main character a hitman or assassin or something?

I was very young when I saw it so can't really remember it but I remember my family thought it was brilliant (can't remember either) and ever since it popped into my head it's been driving me bonkers!
