I'm looking for a diesel estate 08 inwards and was considering extending my search to NI. Budget up to 14k euro.
Is anybody aware of any car dealers in NI that would have a decent reputation for selling used cars?

I recently had dealings with a dealer in the North but it was warranty work rather sales. They were very good to deal with even though the car wasn't bought from them or I never got it serviced there. I can only imagine they would be just as good with someone who bought a car from them. Isaac Agnew in Belfast (just off the M1/A1), they are a main VW dealer.

Never dealt with him personally, but Charles Hurst seems to have a name for himself up there.

Solitude motors just outside Banbridge, I dealt with them before and would have no trouble recommending them. He mostly imports UK fleet cars. I bought an Avensis 2.0l, the best second hand buy I ever made.

I recently bought a Toyota Verso from Mid Ulster Cars in Cookstown. They have the Toyota, VW and Suzuki franchises. Easy to deal with and was able to negotiate a bit on the price with them. Bit of a trek from Dublin but worth the saving in the end.

Just bear in mind that nearly all the UK/NI cars have MPH on the Speedo rather than KM which put me off when I was browsing online recently.

They have Miles, but in the majority of cases, kilometres are there aswell, underneath.

Yeah in some cases they do, however the speedo is predominetly MPH and the KM dials are very small. It's not a big deal for some people but personally just put me off completely.
