Good fitting jeans - plus size

There's no point fooling myself - size 16 jeans don't really fit me. Some do, but some don't. So, I'm looking for a nice pair of jeans, bootcut, that are stretchy material. Had a look in Dorothy Perkins today and didn't see many bootcut pairs, if any. Had a look on ASOS and it even seems to be all skinny jeans! My bootcut jeans are a bit worn so looking for a nice dark blue replacement, short leg if preferable.

    Thanks

Have a look in New Look, they do bootcut for sure, not 100% on the short leg? Next would also be somewhere I would look for jeans, their regular leg is pretty short, and they go up to size 22.

I tried on size 16 ones today in Next, one 'kinda fit' but they were too long and I hadn't the patience to go flook for short ones, and the short ones that I DID have in weren't gonna close! Depressing!

If you are a size 16. Simply be do really great fitting ones. Might be worth a look, they keep shape really well and wash perfect. I find New looks ones really cheap but fade and look raggy very fast

Maybe have a look in Gap, they do that style but the bigger sizes can be a bit hard to find sometimes. M&S might be worth a look too.

My friend got a pair in Pamela Scott, I think they're supposed to be 'bum lift' ones? Nice dark boot-cut ones anyway, around €100 so more expensive than your average.

I bought these recently in M&S. So comfy! I'd usually border 14-16 and bought a 14 which, now that I've worn them a few times, have loosened up considerably. I'd consider trying a 12 : ) if I was buying them again. The medium length are perfect on me with about 2 inch heels and I'm 5'3".

I'd second M&S, I've always found their jeans to be quite well fitting. Plus, they have a variety of lengths.

Penney's have been doing dark blue bootcuts (and also black ones) for the last few months. Kinda stretchy, good selection of sizes and only 10 euro.
I can't remember specifically if I bought a short leg but they must have been fairly short the ones I got because I'm only just under 5 foot and I could wear them over runners.

Cheap but comfy. Obviously could get higher quality ones that will last much longer, but they could tide you over until you find the perfect pair elsewhere. :)

Monsoon and Debenhams (Rocha) also do lovely jeans up to a size 22

My sister, size 22, hasn't worn jeans in YEARS.

She popped into NewLook yesterday and tried on some bootcut (dark blue) jeans from the Inspire range.
She came out of the changing room with tears in her eyes because she'd found jeans and they fit her.

She said they were really comfortable and I have to say, they really suited her; made her legs look dead long.
They were long though, and I don't think they had different lengths, so you'd need to wear heels with them.
