How much do you have to insure it? That is going to be your main factor in how sporty a car you are going to be able to get.

well as little as possible really. There be no chance of getting insurance on a opel vectra b 1999 2.0 cdx would there even as a named driver

Honestly you're better off getting something like a Yaris or Clio and build up the no claims bonus.

Just be patient and do your "pennace" in a small little runaround. The fun cars will still be there.

A Punto 16v 1.2 is quite good fun, as is a 1.4 Clio.

Your looking at 2.5k to 3k for insurance for a one litre so that might limit ya.
