Just noticed channel 119 itv hd is missing from my Freesat hd box. I was using a London post code, changed to a Manchester one just now and I get itv hd granada.

Also noticed that itv hd is missing from my Sky Box, been using my irish sky card and a blank uk card to get the card trick.

Anyone else noticed this, if not I'd have assumed the dish had moved. However if I manually add itv hd London to my Freesat hd box, it finds it.

Yes, did that twice before posting. I'm coming to the conclusion that my dish has moved slightly and I've lost a transponder?

ITV went off my Freesat+ box on Wednesday too, did Freesat scan and it found it again.

    Thanks for the info.

Did rescans with Belfast, Manchester and London post codes, only got Itv hd Granada or Utv hd. No sign of Itv hd London.

Has anyone else using the card trick with a Sky Hd box got Itv hd? It's gone missing for me.

Granada and London HDs are on the same transponders mate :)

Not to mention if you can tune it in manually then of course you haven't lost it!

Regards ITV HD Sky Box - this can't be tuned into other channels any more.

Yes I had checked kingofsat and other sites, so as you say, their both on the same transponder! Strange thing is, doing a Freesat scan, which requires a post code to be entered, never finds Itv HD London. Though on the same box, if I do a manual scan for the transponder, it picks up all the Itv HD variants, including Itv HD London.

I've also tried Belfast and Manchester post codes, and they work fine. Tried a number of London post codes, and the box accepts them, gets the correct Bbc regional channels, but leaves channel 119 blank.

The Sky Hd box, which I have an irish peg and paid subscription, I also have a blank card, which using the card trick gives me some Uk variants, such as CH4 HD, Itv HD and itv 2, 3, 4 and C5 5* and 5 USA. However Itv HD has disappeared.

So why did you think you'd lost the transponder

Thanks for the info radiowaves, I'd only checked the transponder after your post. Still cant figure out why my freesat box wont get ITV HD London, its an old Technisat box thats no longer supported, but it can get the same channel in non-Freesat mode!

As for the Sky box, you never needed to have channels in the "Other Channels" section for the card trick to work.

Oops, only saw the other thread just now. Sorry for the duplicate post, and thanks for the replies...
