Is that before or after they've been used to clean the baby?

Definitely BEFORE for the 'good bike' :-)

Could ya imagine the look on cycle buddies when ya tell them the chain is a bit 'stickey'. Waaaaahaaaahaaaaa

Fair enough but your OP didn't make that clear and it's better to spell these things out otherwise someone may get everything mixed up ....

    Some are better than others.
IMO JandJ pink ones are the best for bikes.
    Pampers wipes are the worst.

For the above reason I won't use JandJ on the babies.

I use the wipes for the wheels and maybe the cassette after a short dry spin.
    Great for cleaning the rims.

I use tesco brand at home as hand wipes, but when I clean stuff with them they leave bits of fabric behind, so it depends on the brand.

Yikes I didn't expect this to turn into a technical debat on wipes.

For the record, I use SuperValu / Aldi / Lidl on the bike. Other ones on the childer.

For dealing with life's grubbiest objects, my loyalty to Jizer is unshakeable.

Rest assured, even the scruffiest baby will come out *sparkling*
