Apologies if this is in the wrong forum, but can anyone tell me if there is an age limit for flying to Australia? Specifically if a 17 year old can fly from Ireland to Perth on his own to meet a parent in Perth? Thanks for any advice.

It really depends on the airline. BA can accept under 18's to fly alone under their Skyflyer Solo program. I'm not 100% sure if Emirates or Etihad allow minors to travel alone. You can check that on their website for their information on it.

It varies from airline to airline.
