    Hi all,

I am looking for a club in South Dublin (close to the beacon area if possible :) ). I know the season is winding down but I am thinking now is the best time to get involved.

Any tips on getting up to speed? I havent played on a team in 6 years or so?

    Thanks!

Where did you play before and at what level and for how long did you play? That'll help with you getting best advice

Its in Sandyford. I am half way between there and Dundrum.

I played in Kildare for an under 15/6/7/8 side. And then second team for adults.

Should note, I am out of shape, just want to get back to the sport I love!

    Thanks for the response!

Plenty of clubs nearby who will all have sides at junior 4/5(division 8-11) which is perfect for you if all you are interested in is social rugby. Stillorglin, Blackrock and any number of clubs close by - donnybrook....
If you have played j1/2 you will be fine just contact any club nearby and try go to a training session. Contact clubs on facebook/via their website.

Old Wesley is nearby Sandyford up in Stepaside. Good coaches who are involved in the Leinster set-up. Doesn't matter if you're out of shape. Any club you go to will set you up with a programme to get fitter.

Thanks everyone for the input.... Really pumped about getting back into it. Think I will have to put in the long hours this summer! Will be great to smack some bodies next season though :)
