Anyone fixing iPhone 2G in Cork

    Hi,

I had a sim adapter in my sim tray, which got yanked out and now my iPhone (1st gen) 2G is not reading sim cards. I presume that the pins have been broken. Do you know if there's anyone fixing the 1st gen iPhones in Cork, or offering a post-in service in Ireland?

It's got a lot of sentimental value for me.

    Thanks

I doubt you'll get anywhere local, ill have a look at one of mine and see if parts available to do the job and let you know

Thanks! I actually have bought another 2G iPhone for parts which has a broken screen. I brought it to a place in town, but they said they weren't interested in fixing it.
