    Hey peeps,

Can any if ye here recommend a hand writing analyst? I need somebody to look over a document and write a report that will hold up in court if I need it to?

Hand writing analysis doesn't hold up in court. It's widely regarded as quackery.

Can you point me in the direction of somebody who examine a document that will hold up?

    Really, http://www.irishexaminer.com/business/court-asks-dpp-to-examine-alleged-forged-signatures-on-loan-document-112032.html

The bank had told the judge a handwriting expert had concluded signatures on a loan document were not those of the defendants.

    In NI http://www.dojni.gov.uk/index/fsni/fsni-services/fsni-areas-expertise/fsni-questioned-documents.htm

Ask your solicitor to arrange such an expert.

TBH no, I'm not familiar with the area. Considering Ireland's size, I would doubt that document analysis services are available outside garda forensics.

I did and was pointed to a place in England. I was hoping to find one in Ireland.

    Thanks all for the replies

I heard one giving evidence in court once and the title the guy went by was 'document examiner'. These days they tend to prefix it with 'forensic'.
