bb cream vs cc cream

So I have been using garnier bb cream during the day for the last year and half or so,
I find it good so far.

I usually brush a bit of sunshimmer over it.

Just wondering what is the difference with it and the cc cream?
Is cc cream more for use under foundation etc? Or can it be used like bb cream on its own?

As far as I understand it CC cream stands for colour correcting but to me it's kind of the same as a BB cream- slightly less than a foundation but more than a tinted moisturiser.

I'd really recommend the Bourjois CC cream.

I got a CC cream recently to try it out and it was pretty much the same as a BB cream. I don't like foundations etc. so I just use those instead of foundation. Tbh I don't see how either of them are different to a tinted moisturizer, I've used different brands and I think it's really just a fancy name for a tinted moisturizer.

I got a gorgeous CC cream in Lidl today for €3, well worth a look. First make up product I've ever bought in there and I have to say I'm very impressed for the price.

Is it the Osiris one? Dealz do the purple and white tube with the silver lid and the BB cream one too. Which means not needing to bulk buy when its in Lidl :)

And its an even more shocking 1.49

Its not going to suit everyone, but I find its great for low key no make up days.

Same one is in eurogianteuro giant for €1.50 (cc cream, bb cream and under eye roll on). I've used the cc cream under my foundation if I'm a bit red under my eyes and it helps sort it.

Yes that's the one! Can't believe I'm only discovering it now. And I normally spend quite a bit on make up. It really is great quality. Thanks for the heads up I'll be stocking up alright!
