BB30 to BSA Tarmac sl4

I'll be buying an S-Works Tarmac sl4 frameset shortly and am a little confused about the whole bottom bracket system. I have a Shimano Ultegra 6700 crank. If I want to put this on the bike what adaptor will I need to buy? thanks in advance.

I use KCNC adaptor on my boardman frame.

Make sure you are 100% sure that your frazme is bb30and not pf30.

The tarmac is a bb30 alright. Wheels manufactuing make a good adapter set aswell. Or if you want a more permanent solution you can have a sleeve pressed into the frame

Thanks guys. Considering changing the bb on my bb30 cannondale slice so that I can install an ultegra crankset. This would allow me buy a stages power meter and move it between road and tri bike whenever I needed

Just out of interested were are you going to buy the stages power meter ? I have been looking and there not many options out there

I got my one from cookstown cycles in Tyrone. Delivered and all and still cheaper then winstanley

I don't think the specialised is a normal bb30. I was helping someone build up a venge and we had trouble.

I have used these, they were fine but you still have the BB30 problem of exposed bearings, also you are tied to Shimano cranks. They are very simple to fit.

I fit this to a Boardman Carbon Pro recently, it needs a little more finesse in fitting as it needs to be pressed in. It allows you to use Shimano or Sram BSA type external bearings.

Any English thread 24mm BB will work with your Ultegra crank.
