How long is your run and how long does it take. The fit4life group could be a good start. Joining a club is probably the best option. http://www.stfinbarrsac.com/?page_id=139 or fit4life at http://www.ballincolligathleticclub.com/Fit4Life.html

The bhaa races are also a good way to find people to run with as they are so cheap. http://corkbhaa.com/ Many people do not realize that someone else in their workplace goes to them until they see them there.

:) Cheers for the reply..yep, i joined the fit for life group Tue night and did the 6 miles with them...they just meet on a Tue though so maybe eventually when I get to know them they might do a run during the week..so much easier to run with a few rather than the solitary run :)

There's also parkrun in Macroom every Saturday.

If you have transport and are willing to drive the 30mins from Ballincollig it's a good way to meet and run regularly.

St. Finbarrs do an easy run of 2 x 4 mile loops on Monday. 6:15ish meet across the road for the scared heart church.

We also have the CIT track booked every Monday from 6:30 to 7:30 if you fancy doing some track work. I'm usually there doing interval training. For some reason not a lot of people turn up for the track session, usually gets better as the evenings lengthen. There's also an informal meet on a Sat or Sun morning for an (up to) 10 mile run. This is informal as I say and usually people just ask around to see who else is interested as life tends to get in the way at weekends :).
