Reverse light stays on

Just noticed today that the reverse light in my 2000 ford fiesta is constantly on, even when in neutral/forward gears. Anybody have any idea on what it could be and how to fix it? Thanks! -Alan

Faulty switch on the gearbox would be my guess

As above, probably stuck in the closed position. Easy enough to remove (think its a 19 mm), and could probably be worked loose again with WD40, otherwise a replacement switch would be peanuts.
