    Hey guys

Just wondering what rugby podcast you listen to and is there many out there that are good?

After the massive loss of the Talking Rugby podcast:mad::mad::mad::mad: there is a massive hole left in my podcast list.....I have the Off the Ball one and just done a bit of a google and found the Total Rugby podcast and it is ok but Worldwide so just a small section on 6N so not really what I am looking for

I know joe.ie do one as well but never got into it and it is not that regular or have I signed up wrong?

So any idea's would be great, they are great for sitting in the car and passing time......

mostly looking for something that covers 6N, Aviva, Top 14 etc....thanks

There has to be some good ones out there!!!!

Second Captains (Eoin McDevitt et al. who used to be on Off The Ball) do 4 podcasts a week(2 on Monday and 2 Thursday). Two of them cover various sports but when it's rugby season you'll get a good bit of rugby on the.

Talk Sport Radio from the UK have a show called Full Contact hosted by Brian Moore. It's normally broadcast on a Sunday night.
The podcast is up on the Monday

Egg chasers podcast. Mainly aviva premiership based but very funny and you have to appreciate the depth of interest of the guys who present it. Had top quality coverage of the 6n and also do the Heineken justice.

GAGR is very much OZ Super XV focussed if that floats your boat.

Still missing the talking rugby show... was the best by a country mile.

Ruggamatrix is Northern Hemisphere focused (though an Aussie production) & has Les Kiss on as a regular contrbutor.

Can be a good listen as the cover Ireland a lot (though GAGR analysis is more forensic).

BBC also ran their 5 Live podcasts during the 6N, though it's full of that inane blokey banter Matt Dawson's seems so fond of.

Hours of chat, but bland generalities in the main.

OTB & Second Captains are by far the best of what's available.

Rte have a "the rugby show" podcast - was every week during the 6 nations iirc, but was intermittent before that, and none have come into my podcast app this week.

Talking rugby is missed by me too.

For the Irish fans, there is nothing to match the Talking Rugby podcast - I so miss it. I think it is not just a matter of recording the chat and banging it up on the web - lots of very tedious editing which must have taken hours.....thanks again guys for the shows you did.
