Depends on how straight you drive, and the amount of overlapping you do, and the number of bald patches you leave behind you:p

Just out of interest, how many metres do ye drive apart with the wagtail spreaders?

Around 2.5 - 3 with a Vicon in my case, fourth gear. Pure balls to set right. Changed to Gouldings fertilizer this years and all settings different again. 2 bag/Acre is at 16 on Vicon now as opposed to 14 before.

You have to pick a small field 1- 2 acre and try you're luck. Mark each bag level on the inside of the spreader so you have some clue as to what's left as you go along.
