GW31 - Whats ur hit?

Seems like a lot of people starting the week on -8/-12, its a good bit to make back, althought I heard on the FFS podcast last week one of the top guys took a 24 point hit at the start of the season. I do think this is different, everyone will have 10 DGWers, everyone will have Suarez as captain, it could all be very samey-samey

Very similar to a lot of GW31 teams probably; Could do Speroni to Adrian or Mannone for another -4 but Speroni has a double in 3 weeks himself so will leave as is; priority after this week is getting a 3rd Man City player given their numerical game advantage - hopefully Aguero is back soon, my opponent won't be able to afford him without dropping Suarez or tearing up his team so hoping a front 3 of SAS (Aguero in middle) can do the business over the last 8 games

Ince and Lallana out for Yaya and Nolan so far. Thats a -4 but I've only 7 DGWers so I'll almost certainly be going to a total of -8 or -12.

Currently considering Chester, Zabaleta and possibly Mannone. Had considered Gerrard but would mean benching Hazard which I'm just not willing to do.

All transfers I make between now and tomorrow will be defenders/GK.

I would love if Mata outscored Gerrard. In saying that, one of the most important games for me is surprisingly the first one, Chelsea v Arsenal. My rival will be playing a Chelsea defender and Mertesacker, so I need both teams to score in this one.

No hits here either. Did Lallana to Yaya. Have 9 DGW'ers so far along with Terry & Hazard. Only other change I am considering is Smalling (currently benched) ---> City defender. If I do take a hit it will involve leaving Terry on the bench which I don't want to do

Also my direct opponents will have to take hits to get 9 DGW'ers so it could be a nice head-start for me

Very average team I guess, but won't make any extra hits especially when Hazard is in good form. Can't afford Gerrard and got rid of Silva last week:mad: so no way he goes back to my team. Fingers crossed for Yaya's goals:D

If Debuchy didn't get injured would have had 9 DGW + Hazard & Azpi with no hits. But my "masterplan" of ignoring GW 29 (got Debuchy instead of a United defender (*) which cost me a lot during that GW but last GW saved me from this mini GW29 disaster).

(*) Didn't realise that Smalling was roughly the same prize. Now that he seems to be out it softens the blow (though with La Buche injury it's a 6 pts net deficit anyway).

So to answer the thread's question will probably take a 4 pts hit to replace Debuchy. There is the temptation to take another hit for Lallana and bench Hazard but not sure it's worth a 4 pts hit. And don't know who to take for him. Also he has lost already £0.2m so I'm a little late to make the move now. Only worry is his last 55 min game...

I've kinda of taken hits leading up to this in preparation.

For example, in the previous two weeks I had take two straight -8 hits, and now this week I've taken another -4 hit.

So to put into perspective, I've taken at least a -16 point hit for this gameweek

I ended up making an extra -4 hit after I stupidly got Ramsey in before I knew he would be defintely fit enough, and similarly have got burned with Aguero who I then decided to dump...

I wish it wasn't so much, as -20 sounds fairly bad, but what's done is done.

The number of hits this week makes me think I was well prepared for this. Should stop reading the thread before I do something stupid and end up with -12 or worse:D

Friend of mine said he only need to make 3 transfer to have all 11 dgw players, and he seemed very happy about this like he had it all planned.
I thought, well - pretty much every player is in the very same position. I thought he was serious until I noticed his team value 103.8 and 0.8 in the bank. Suarez, Lambert and Berahino upfront:D
It is funny when people think they have it all figured out, hope he captains Mirallas again.
