School fete craft stall

Have been roped into helping at our primary school fete at the craft stall. Need to produce some craft to sell on the day. Anyone got any ideas on what might be a winner?

Was thinking of a few baby hats and bootee sets, maybe some homemade bath bombs. We are mainly into knitting and crochet but open to other options. Someone suggested preparing little ready made craft kits for kids to buy and finish at home with the instructions and materials provided. Which sounds great but how to go about doing it.....

Also anyone got any idea what might appeal to older students!

    Thanks

Kids love to make felt purses, you can cut them in bulk, even do a few seams and provide a plastic needle and wool. A few added bits to decorate then will stop them all looking the same.

The fellas might like to glue shapes to make angry birds etc.

As above, also check out Pinterest, I found the link for 'stalls for school fetes'! :)

Hope you have plenty of time for preparations! Good luck!

You could also bake cakes and make popcorn to sell too.

I seem to do a lot of craft stalls for various charities etc
Knitted goods, just dont seem to sell - for babies at least.

Some crochet hats for teens - beanie type ones - are popular at the mom, if you could get a quick/easy pattern

I did an easter egg cozy in a craft fair years ago. Buy the kit, came with plastic needle and wool, and the kids finished it there & then (supervised by me!) or brought it home (instruction sheet)

Buy some wooden or plastic egg cups, and decorate them with sequins/pastel paint etc - again a kit?

You could photocopy lots of easter theme colouring pages - buy 1 colouring book, or download from internet - and put in bag with cheap paint kit (from pound shop) few mini choc eggs (Lidl) and tie with pretty pastel easter colured ribbon?

Bake plain cookies, and have some sort of pastel coloured decorating pens - have seen these somwhere - and the kids decorate them - have some mum or dad or granny designed ones for samples!

ok Im going to shut up now :D
