.Hi perazzi Its an easy route and very doable. You probable saw this but if you didn't its copied from website
The Fort 2 Fort 60km Challenge (scroll down for route map)

The Fort 2 Fort 60km tour route provides a rewarding experience and sense of achievement for all cycling enthusiasts, completing a full loop of the magnificent Cork Harbour - Fort 2 Fort. Departing from Trabolgan Holiday Village the route will initially take you along the eastern shore of the beautiful Cork Harbour along the R630, through Whitegate village and Aghada, then into Saleen village. From here, the route will turn left and take the spectacular loop around East Ferry before continuing on to Lakeview Roundabout in Midleton. From here you will cycle west 2km on the N25 before taking Exit 5 onto a minor road that will take you in a westerly direction through flat countryside to Ballintubbrid and on to Barryscourt Castle. Here you will find a refreshment stop. From Barryscourt Castle, you will cycle in a westerly direction to Fota where you will join the R624 road and continue along the Fota Road to Belvelly bridge. Crossing Belvelly bridge and onto Great Island (Cobh), the route will take you right, to continue in a south-westerly direction along the R624 coast road to the Cross River Ferry at Carrigaloe. Here participants can enjoy a brief rest period, meet and chat with fellow cyclists and bask in the atmosphere of the day as they cross the River Lee by ferry to Glenbrook.
From Glenbrook the route continues on the R610 along the western shore of Cork Harbour to Monkstown and onto Rafeen bridge where you will meet the N28 continuing on through Shanbally to Ringaskiddy. On entering Ringaskiddy the route meets a short climb as it enters the R613 and continues west along to Carrigaline. From Carrigaline the route changes to an easterly direction along the R612 taking in the beautiful scenery on the road into Crosshaven. Upon entering Crosshaven, there is a final climb up to the finish line at Camden Fort Meagher where you can sit back and enjoy a well earned rest with refreshments. Congratulations, you have completed the Fort 2 Fort 60km Tour!

the 60km route is very flat, a few small drags but nothing hard, the climb to camden at the end is probably the hardest. the 120km has some good climbs in cobh and just out of whitegate (and the way back to whitegate) as well but still nothing massive.

Just looking at some of my strava routes around that area and see nothing bigger than 5% and even those aren't for long.

    Return transport to Trablolgan

If desired, transport will be available for the 60km cyclist and for their bikes back to Trabolgan Holiday Village – please advise if you wish to avail of this option when registering.

Has anyone been on that east ferry loop lately? I was there a month ago and the road was wrecked by the floods. I'm only doing the 60km as I'll be cycling home after camden rather than going all the way back past my gaff to White gate.
I have serious concerns about taking my shiny new bike on that east ferry route tho, I took my winter bike round there recently and as I say the flooding had wrecked that road.

Does anyone know if they sorted it in advance of this? I saw in the latest email they mentioned it.
"CAUTION: Please beware of the condition of the road especially on the East Ferry loop."

This does not fill me with confidence about going on that loop.

Yeah was really good although I should have done the 100km i was ready to turn round and go back but a crying 2 year old at camden wanted me to go in the car! Weather was awesome was the first one I've done when trains of people on their own developed and helped share the windage. was a great day
