Getting a built in sliding wardrobe?

I'm hoping to get some built in storage for the length of a bedroom wall - approx 13 feet long but includes a chimney breast at one end, and a washhand basin. I'd love a ceiling height storage that would allow me to stash suitcase etc up on top without being visible.

Any recommendations for a Dublin company that would do good quality design and fit at a good price? Also I'm getting the room is currently wall to wall carpet, which u hope to replace soon. Would it be better to have separate flooring for inside the wardrobe or to carpet fully up to the walls before installing it? Or do these type of wardrobes normally have their own internal floor?

Thanks for any help it ideas!

    Hi Fiona,

We have also just purchased a sliding wardrobe from Skon. Not the cheapest, not the most expensive, but very good quality wardrobes.
We are waiting for the guys to come out and measure and hope to have them installed by mid June (we are getting plastering work done, so have to wait a while).

The wardrobes have their own floor, so I'd get them fitted first then carpet up to them.

    Hi folks,

Any update on the built in wardrobes? did you go for it in the end? how did it turn out?

I'm in the same boat myself, looking to get a wardrobe built into my master bedroom.
