Part time degree in History

    Hi all
I'm currently a holder of a level 7 degree in Electrical Engineering and work in the IT industry

I'm interested in doing a part time history degree course.

    I have 2 questions:

Does anyone know do I have to start the course from scratch as an undergraduate or can I use my level 7 degree to shorten the time?

Are there recognised history degree courses I can do onsite (or partially online)?
I live in Kildare so the thoughts of driving to Dublin in the evenings isn't that appealing!;) Maynooth would probably be closer but its still approx. 45 mins

    Thanks in advance

Have you considered Open University. I did one such with them a while back. Challenging and well presented with lots of module choice. However now given the changes to their fee structure a tad more expensive.
