The scrap yard will sort the cert out for you. What part of the country are you in, someone may be able to recommend a good scrap yard to deal with near you. Alternatively you could stick it in adverts or done deal and get a few quid

You would be lucky to get €100ish these days.

All Polos should be burned by fire anyways. Hateful bastard cars.

Put it on Done Deal Vintage, with a few photos, and ask E475, offers invited. IF it has a N.C,T. add another E300.

Is the car driving well? If so you'd be mad to take 50 for it... Any tax or nct?

Not driving great , cuts out at lights , tax up this month , no nct .

I'd still stick it up in donedeal for 100/120, say you need it gone by tomorrow and take anything over 50.... Worst case scenario you trade it in Monday for 50

Local scrappy paying about 200/ton these days. Polo weigh in slightly above the half ton mark? Also scrappy charges you for the tyres, as he has to pay a levy to dispose (!) so stick it up on DD, there is a lot worse on it!
