No somebody getting bad dental work is never a good thing to my or any professionals ears, it degrades the profession as a whole and dents patients confidence. I see these cases all the time as does any working dentist anywhere in the world. High quality dentistry is beautiful and robust. An investment that can last decades with little maintenance. However to provide such treatment requires extensive years of full time training, expensive equipment and laboratory support, and shed loads of time. For these reasons its necessarily expensive (in any country), and not something that everyone can afford.

Bargain dentistry can be had everywhere, but the bitter taste of poor quality lingers long after the sweet fleeting thrill of low price is forgotten. Often this type of work is done on patient that can least afford the remedial work.

Gee, I am feeling philosophical this evening.
