Hi there,
There is an issue with role permissions that is being worked on at the moment.
If you are having trouble with access or permissions on regional forums please post here to get access: https://www.boards.ie/discussion/2058365403/you-do-not-have-permission-for-that#latest

Do either of these look like good choices?

could be miles off on both of these points, but the lack 3dr is a trendline, but doesn't have alloys? it also has a pre-facelift steering wheel in a facelift car?

That's interesting alright, I actually thought the black one was 5 door too from the pictures. What about the dark blue one? It seems like an ok deal?

    Howerya Cormie!
Tbh, neither of those would tick my boxes - but what about an '06 on a D plate with just 50,000 miles, that might be had for just north of €4k if you're lucky?

Here's another 05 D plate with 75,000 miles and NCT'd to Jul 2015, closer to the three grand mark:

Thanks a lot for them! I think she'd prefer to keep it sub 4K and get the tax and insurance and everything sorted for under 5K. The one on donedeal looks like it could be an option, just not sure on the colour, she said she doesn't want a grey car :o I rang the seller there and it's still available and reason for sale is that it was his girlfriends car and she wanted a Golf GTI and got one. He said it passed the NCT about 6/7 months ago and hasn't had much miles on it since and there's a small little dent on the front quarter panel that should be popped out easy enough. It was just from someone leaning on it he said.

Sounds like it could be a good buy, if she's ok with the colour of course :)
