Hi can anybody help me with this?

Yesterday I backed a €3 yankee cost €33 but I had 2 non runners so am I entitled to some of my money back for the non runners?

    A yankee has

    6 doubles
    4 trebles
    1 four fold

1 of your doubles will have the two non runners in it. That would be money back wouldn't it be?

For the other bets any other double involving the horses become a single on the other. The 3 fold with both in becomes a single, the other 3 folds involving each horse become doubles. The fourfold is now a double on the other 2 horses

Yes. assuming the 2 that ran lost, you will get €3 back.

You can use betcalculator to work it out.

    http://betcalculator.com/

Edit: The two non runners throws it off.

PP have a better calculator on their site.

    Returns €75

€3 is the refund due to the non runner

You'll also have what are in effect 3 singles on the winner. A "treble" involving the winner & 2 NRs and then 2 "doubles", involving the winner and each of the non runners

I make it as Imhof does, €75

You'd be better off putting down "If Any Non-Runners, Sub Favourite" on the docket, if you did it in a betting office.

If he'd done that, he would probably not be getting 75 euro back.

If he fancied the fav, he would have selected it in the first place.
