I've had i9000 before. Switched to galaxy s3, great phone. No problems at all, after well over a year of usage still very responsive and all.
But hoping to get LG g2 next week or so, the main reason for me is the battery life, s3 isn't too bad but g2 is supposed to be great.
So I'd go for g2 even only for that reason alone.

Nexus 5 is better than both and now available in Ireland direct from Google, no more messing with parcel motel

Well the LG G2 is pretty much the nexus 5 except for being bigger, much better battery and camera.

OP, if it's a choice between the two, there's no decision, the G2 is miles better.

Yep i have not experienced the nexus 5 but the G2 for me is by far the best phone I've experienced. And I've owned a galaxy s3.

I read a lot of people say that the battery life is pretty poor on the N5, at least compared to the G2.
